Y'all I spent the last two days watching the 2026 version of A Different World. It was an amazing feeling reconnecting with Hillman College and some of the characters I grew up with. And it was also so pleasurable to see what was happening to the new crop of college kids, some of whom were the children of some of my favorite characters. It's hard to believe that almost 40 years have passed since I first walked on Hillman's campus via Dwayne, Jalisa and Whitley. And I'm so happy to say that coming to back to campus has been just as fun. Friendship drama, college administration drama and of course romantic drama still abound but turned up a notch. And men, so many cute guys on the show. One in particular will curl your toes. I won't say who, just watch an episode and let me know who you think I'm talking about :). Thankfully A Different World has been renewed for another season and I can't wait to see what is in store for these college kids.
